Alpha Male/Alpha Female
The be all and end all within the pack. The boss. The leader. It is their role to oversee everything within the pack from training, to meetings with other packs, to recruiting loners, all with the aim of keeping their numbers up and the pack itself afloat. The Alpha Female is the only female in the pack who is considered 'off-limits' to lesser ranks when it comes to breeding.
Beta Male/Female
The second in command, the boss when the real boss isn't around. They typically carry the same roles and responsibilities as the Alpha(s), with the exception that the Beta Female is under no protection when it comes to breeding, and may only mother a litter when it is necessary or when permitted by the Alpha Female.
Head Guard
The leader of the Alpha's Guard. Their job is to protect the pack at all costs, patrol the borders, and report any unusual goings on in the vicinity. They may parent pups given the Alpha's consent but otherwise are expected to be wholly devoted to their role.

Breeders
Special wolves with particularly useful genes. When in heat, it is their job to expand the pack's genepool with a male or female of the Alpha's choosing. When out of heat, they may provide entertainment for the rest of the pack. They are otherwise treated with the same rights as Subordinates and expected to help the pack just as any other subordinate.
